F A Q

When will the CyberRak become available?

We anticipate CyberRak will start deliveries in the first half of 2026.

Can the CyberRak be removed and reinstalled easily?

Yes, the CyberRak can be removed and requires no modifications or alterations to the Cybertruck. It's important to note that the CyberRak is designed to be hardy and streamlined, so removal is unnecessary for most things.

Will it be possible to upgrade the CyberRak over time?

Yes. CyberRak is modular at its core.

Has the CyberRak been built yet?

Yes, A full open rack prototype has been made and is installed on a customer Cybertruck. We made a number of components as well in early 2024 and continue testing them in real world use on our service trucks.

Why is it made from stainless steel instead of plastic or aluminum?

Although plastic and aluminum are cheaper and lighter materials, you sacrifice durability, especially in demanding environments.

Dry rubbing metal testing shows that aluminum has an extremely high coefficient of friction, which means that it behaves like sandpaper when rubbing against other metals. Further, aluminum against aluminum has such a high coefficient of friction that it is known that aluminum ladders regularly sliding against an aluminum rack will cut into the rack and begin to cause structural damage to the ladder and rack.

Our stainless-steel crossbars will last a lifetime and are bulletproof, just like the Cybertruck.

Can I walk on my CyberRak crossbars?

Yes, even the beastliest men can walk on the rack and crossbars without any risk to the structure.
